Redecorating

As I think I mentioned in an earlier blog, when Colin moved out Janae wanted the bed that was in his room and she wanted to redecorate her room so we did that (maybe I'll post a pic. of it later---it's Janae :-) ) then Jason painted Colin's room for us and we made it into a computer room/library ?. I collect books and we had a couple of these bookcases in our room and one was in Janae's room and she didn't want it in there so... I decided to decorate it in Americana and this is some of the results.

It sure was nice to get the bookcases and David's filing cabinet for Home Missions out of our bedroom. It looks so much better now! Jason painted our room for us too and the girls thought I needed to get rid of the comforter set I had and get something else. I looked around to find something and then I saw this on Craigslist. Purple is my-- or one of my favorite colors-- and this caught my eye. I got the comforter set, a set of sheers, 2 scarfs and a picture all for one price. The picture still had a price from Penneys on the back of $130. Since I took this pic. I've added a couple of solid decorative purple pillows to the bed. (Mom, I'm going to try to remember and call you and let you know I've posted these!)
