Welcome To Our Family, Faith!!

We left Fri. morning to go to the wedding. I thought maybe we'd have time to sign into the motel and have time to rest before the rehearsal but that didn't happen. We stopped to eat at Lamberts Cafe for lunch maybe around 2:00. It was a neat place to go. Janae has been wanting us to go there and eat for awhile. If you want a roll they throw it to you. They come by with pans of fried okra, fried potatoes, maccaroni and tomatoes, and black eyed peas and you just tell them if you want some. You can have as many servings as you can eat. I ordered a chicken fried steak and they brought my food in a skillet. The first three pics. are taken with my cell phone so they're not as nice.

We didn't get out until around like 3:00 and we had to get to the Tux place for David to try on his tux before the store closed. Then they wanted us to wait for a half hour so they could lengthen the pants so Janae went over to David's Bridal while we waited and tried on some dresses for Mandie's wedding. By the time we left we went straight to the rehearsal and got there maybe just a little late. (We got a little lost trying to find it). In an earlier blog I showed a picture of the mints I made, well... as I was bringing them in the door one of the containers slid off and hit the floor and burst open and spilled how many of the roses! I lost maybe around 100 roses I don't know. :-( Thankfully it was the one that didn't have as many in it. Colin and Buck picked them up for me. They liked them! :-)

Faith's colors were very pretty and I thought it was a pretty wedding. The mothers were to walk down the aisle with a lit candle to light the candles for them to use to light their unity candle. I was afraid my candle would go out as I walked down the aisle. I was mentioning that to Brenda because I didn't know what I'd do if it did and Manuel bought a cigarette lighter for me to take with me! Thanks guys I really appreciated that!! Luckily I didn't have to use it. The Lord cares and is so good to us even in the little things. To someone else it might not have been such a big deal but it bothered me and He worked it all out! Here's some pics of the wedding that Dacia and I took. (Actually I think Diane took a couple of these and maybe even Jason too) I anxious to see the photographer's. I think he took some neat shots.

Sisterly and Brotherly love. :-)

Was hoping I could see some Wedding pictures! We thought of you'll this weekend and KNOW how everything can go so fast and exhausting. Congratulations on your new daughter-in-law! I enjoy having Martha in the family now.
Joe made a trip to PA last week, leaving Monday around 2 pm and got home around noon Thursday, visitation Thursday evening and funeral Friday and dinner - it was an exhausting week.
Trust the newlyweds are enjoying their honeymoon! and you guys can relax now.
